Pandit Sankha Chatterjee (Tabla)

Pandit Sankha Chatterjee is one of the senior most Tabla maestro of India. He consider himself very fortunate being the only musician who had the privilege to learn from the greatest tabla maestros like USTAD MASEET KHAN ; USTAD KARAMATULLA KHAN AND USTAD ALLARAKHA KHAN in Guru-Sishya Parampara tradition, and thus got the opportunity to master the most important aspects of the three oldest School of Tabla GHARANAS;such as FARUKKABAD; DELHI & PANJAB. He has created unique style of Tabla playing - a synthesis of the knowledge from his GURUS and own creative ideas. Pandit Chatterjee has performed with all the great musicians of India, Europe and America since 1955. He has numerous disciples all over India, Europe, America and Canada and quite a few of them are already established and reputed in the Music world. He is a former teacher of Hochschule Der Künste University of Berlin and Rabindra Bharati University of Fine arts at Kolkata.

Alain Panteleimonoff (Sitar)

Tra i migliori interpreti di questo strumento, Alain Panteleimonoff ha studiato il Sitar per piu' di 30 anni sotto la guida di leggendari Maestri quali Ustad Vilayat Khan e Pandit Bimalendu Mukherjee. Nel corso degli anni ha sviluppato una pratica quotidiana del Sitar che gli ha permesso di esibirsi in svariati concerti in India, Pakistan, Armenia, Marocco, Europa, ecc. Si e' laueato nel 1986 presso la fondazione Yehudi Menuhin Presence de la Musique.

The workshop takes place from 30 october to 04 november 2010.
Arrival: 30 october in the morning (we will have a common lunch and thereafter the lesson will start). Departure: 05 november 2010 in the morning.
The worshop will be done in a beautifull place near Arezzo.

The total cost of Lesson, Boarding and Food is 590 € and only the lesson cost is 250 €.

Il seminario si terra' in una struttura bellissima immersa nelle foreste casentinesi. Si tratta di un casolare con vari appartamenti indipendenti di 4 - 5 - 6 posti con tutti i confort e spazi utilizzabili all'interno e all'esterno. Per chi desidera venire accompagnato sono disponibili varie sistemazioni piu' "intime", ma dovremmo saperlo in anticipo.
Costi: 590 € vitto, alloggio e lezioni. L'unica spesa aggiuntiva e' il lavaggio biancheria che costa 12 € per tutti i 6 giorni per chi non porta lenzuola, federe ed asciugamani. Le coperte chiaramente ci sono gia'. Costo delle sole lezioni: 250 €. Vitto ed alloggio per gli eventuali visitatori e accompagnatori: 340 €. Vi prego di segnalarmi per tempo la partecipazione (entro il 30 settembre), altrimenti rischiamo di arrivare al'ultimo senza sapere quanti siamo, grazie.
